A request to build a senior living facility received the go ahead from the Madison City Council this week, the Cap Times reported.
The property of the facility is located at 4817 Halley Way and is 2.5 acres. It will be home to a 97-unit development named Capitol View at Oak Park.
The site has had three previous development proposals where all failed to break ground after their approval.
Oak Park Place, which is building the project, failed to deliver a 99-unit housing facility in 2022, blaming COVID-19, interestrates and more. But it said it is now ready to move forward with this facility.
