Wynwood of Madison West, a senior housing facility on Yellowstone Drive, will undergo a two-year, $18 million expansion and renovation in response to an increased need for senior care. The facility, which will change its name to Brookdale Madison West, will also increase its assisted-living units from 48 to 67, and those units will be moved into a new, adjacent three-story building. The company will renovate the existing building and add two dementia-care programs. The project is expected to create 25 new jobs.
Tennessee-based Brookdale Senior Living, which operates 1,150 facilities in 46 states, purchased Wynwood of Madison West in 2011.
