Senate Minority Leader Agard announces campaign for Dane County executive

Today, Senate Minority Leader Melissa Agard announced her campaign for Dane County executive.

Agard was born and raised in Dane County and is the mother of four sons. She currently represents Wisconsin’s 16th Senate District and was unanimously elected as Senate Democratic Leader in November 2022. Prior to her time in the state Senate, Agard served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and on the Dane County Board.

Earlier this year, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi announced his intent to resign in 2024. The general election for Dane County Executive will be held on Nov. 5, 2024. For more information about Sen. Agard and her campaign, click here.
