Segoe Road, Sheboygan Avenue construction begins, lasting through late August

Reconstruction of Segoe Road and Sheboygan Avenue is scheduled to begin on March 20 and expected to last until late August, according to the city of Madison.

To minimize impact to the community, reconstruction will occur in phases:

  • Segoe Road construction from University Avenue to Regent Street begins March 20 and should conclude the week of April 30, with Segoe Road remaining closed to thru-traffic and local access for residents maintained;
  • Sheboygan Avenue construction from Eau Claire Avenue to Segoe Road begins April 29, with this portion of Sheboygan Avenue remaining closed to thru-traffic and local access for residents maintained; and
  • Sheboygan Avenue construction from Whitney Way to Eau Claire Avenue begins May 15, with this portion of Sheboygan Avenue remaining closed to thru-traffic and local access for residents maintained.
