The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. has planned approximately $200,000 in matching grants to encourage entrepreneurship opportunities for communities of color, women, veterans, and LGBTQ individuals, according to a release from the organization. The awards are part of the second phase of WEDC’s 2021 Entrepreneurship Support Grants and the first designed specifically to grow diversely owned businesses in Wisconsin.
Applications will be accepted through March 8 and only programs focused on developing and supporting diverse entrepreneurship opportunities for minorities, women, veterans, and LGBTQ individuals are eligible.
