Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin on Wednesday received $217,943 from Hy-Vee as part of a 20-month campaign, according to WMTV15. The funds were collected through Madison-area Hy-Vee stores’ Register Round Up campaign.

The money will support the food bank’s community impact as area food insecurity continues to escalate. Second Harvest says there are 130,000 people facing food insecurity in the region.
