Safe Skies Clean Water Wisconsin, a group opposed to basing F-35 fighter jets in Madison, has filed a second lawsuit challenging the environmental review, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The jets are scheduled to be based at Truax beginning in 2023.
The complaint alleges the Air Force and National Guard Bureau failed to follow the law when considering impacts of the base, including not adequately considering the impact of noise, air, and groundwater pollution.
