Many retailers are delaying plans, or pulling back altogether, for seasonal hires due to an uncertain economy and tariffs, according to the Associated Press.
Companies like Bath & Body Works and Radial (which Lands’ End uses to deliver products to customers) are hiring fewer people than last year.
Others like Target and UPS aren’t offering hiring figures, a change from years past.
Several forecasts predict holiday spending growth to be down from last year.
