The University of Wisconsin–Madison’s search for a new university police chief is moving forward after the first finalist candidate on Tuesday gave a public presentation to the search committee and community, according to WMTV15.
Students on the search committee said the position will be important for staff, faculty, and students on campus and expressed their hope that the chosen candidate will consult with students on UWPD operations and initiatives and be receptive to feedback.
The remaining candidates will reportedly deliver their finalist presentations this week or next week.
