Scooter’s Coffee is open in the former Crandall’s Carryout & Catering building at 6401 University Ave. in Middleton. Scooter’s is a popular coffee chain in Nebraska.
Besides coffee, the drive-thru establishment will also offer breakfast food such as homemade pastries and breakfast burritos. The owners are Teri LaBorde of Brodhead and her son Adam, who lives in Omaha, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Chicken Run occupied the building previously but closed in late 2018 after about a year.
