Ella’s Deli, the iconic, circus-themed restaurant with the 1920s-era carousel outside and pedaling clowns crossing on wires above the heads of diners inside, is for sale.
After 41 years on East Washington Avenue, owners Ken and Judy Balkin are selling the famous Madison kosher eatery in hopes a new owner will keep it alive for another 41 years.
Price tag: $1.4M, which includes a three-unit rental building next door.
