Sauk Prairie Healthcare has been named to Forbes Top Hospitals for 2026 list.
SPH earned an overall rating of five stars from Forbes, with only 18 hospitals in Wisconsin and 75 small hospitals nationwide receiving five stars.
“Being recognized in this way from a distinguished institution such as Forbes, in their very first list of top hospitals, is truly an honor,” Shawn Lerch, CEO of Sauk Prairie Healthcare, said in a statement. “This achievement speaks to the unwavering focus of our team on ensuring exceptional, compassionate care every single day.”
Forbes’ rating system evaluates hospitals across the country so medical consumers can use the list to find quality care near them.
The rating system was created by a team of health care experts, as well as through a partnership with the health care data and analytics firm Inovalon. The data was collected from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Provider Data Catalog.
