Sargento Foods plans to expand its facility in Hilbert by 30,000 square feet at a cost of $12 million, according to a report in the Appleton Post Crescent.
The company said the addition is needed to expand production space for its growing sauce business, and is expected to create up to 50 new jobs over the next five years. Work is expected to start in May, with production beginning in the new space by January of 2013.
