According to NBC15, the Salvation Army of Dane County is making extra preparations to keep people safe in the midst of the current heat wave. It is providing water, food, and shelter in an air-conditioned environment. Meals are served at 5:30 p.m. daily. A gym space is available in the event of overflow. The organization does not limit the number of days a person can stay.
