Madison’s Royal Thai Pavilion received a 2025 Historic Preservation Award after a massive restoration project made several repairs to the building, WMTV15 reports. The award is distributed by the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation, which honors excellent historic preservation and the promotion of cultural heritage.
Weather-related deterioration of the building necessitated a $1.6 million update to the Royal Thai Pavilion to restore its finishes and make structural repairs. The project was one of six award recipients.
