Edgerton’s Lake House Inn has reopened after a six-week closure for renovations, the Milton Courier reports. The spot serves unique liquors and will offer a variety of gifts and a full dinner menu, including a Friday Fish Fry and Saturday Prime Rib. It also has a “munchie menu” available at the bar.
The original building was constructed in the 1840s, and a kitchen, bar area, and dining room were later added. Updates such as a new roof have already been undertaken, but additional renovation is still needed. New lighting, updated plumbing, and a kitchen redo are among the changes most recently implemented by the spot’s current owner, who also added steps and doors for code compliance.
The owner plans this summer to deliver to-go orders throughout the Mallwood and Maple Beach neighborhood and has said last year’s farmers market will return as well.
