Cookie production at one of two Rippin’ Good Cookies plants in Ripon will come to an end when the plant begins shutting down operations in September, according to an article in the Sheboygan Press.

ConAgra Foods, which purchased the plants in 2013, announced the closing of Ripon’s west side facility, which produces soft baked and “enrobed” cookies. The east side plant, which employs about 80 workers and produces wafer cookies, will remain open.

About 300 people will be affected and can apply for other positions within the company.
