A 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel upheld Wisconsin’s right-to-work law, agreeing with a September decision from U.S. District Judge J.P. Stadtmueller.
Right-to-work prohibits businesses and unions from requiring that all employees pay union dues, but opponents charge that it allows nonunion employees to receive representation.
This particular appeal was filed in 2016 by two chapters of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
