Developer Gorman & Co. is requesting the Cambridge Plan Commission consider rezoning a parcel east of State Highway 134 to include housing, according to a report from the Cambridge News and Deerfield Independent.
The parcel is already set for mixed-use development but rezoning would allow the developer to build a $17 million, 75-unit affordable housing project. The “Artists Lofts” project would be constructed at Kenseth Way and Katie Court. The developer is expected to make the rezoning request at the commission’s Nov. 9 meeting.
