Madison’s Common Council passed a revised amendment to its adopted 2025 operations budget on Tuesday that will allocate another $100,000 for older adult resources, WMTV15 reports.

The original amendment advocated for adding $100,000 designated for case management resources for seniors to $838,000 in city funding for older adult resources. The revised amendment approved the $100,000 for use by senior services beyond case management.

The budget also supports growth of the CARES team, the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park, and investments in local infrastructure.
