Dr. Kayla Sergent, Ph.D., assistant professor of management at Edgewood College, will present her recent research, Women’s Leadership in a Crisis, on Sept. 10 virtually through the Executive Speaker Series at Edgewood College.
Dr. Sergent’s research has found that in times of crisis, women tend to be preferred over men as leaders. The research has received significant national and international attention and will be discussed by a panel of female leaders across higher education, politics, the nonprofit sector, and industry.
