Republicans on the State Building Commission rejected Gov. Tony Evers’ proposed $2.38 billion in investments in state infrastructure. The plan, which failed to pass as the commission was deadlocked in a 44 vote, included major projects in 31 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, which were estimated to provide approximately 29,000 jobs and $4.3 billion in economic impact.
