A recent analysis by the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) measuring the number of new jobs created between 2007 and 2012 in the tech/information sector ranks Dane County number nine on a list of the nation’s top 25 counties with populations of at least 300,000. While California counties took the top three positions, the latest report reveals more high-tech job growth in urban areas and college towns.
