A report from Digital Commerce 360 B2B shows business-to-business electronic sales in all forms — e-commerce sites, log-in portals, marketplaces, e-procurements systems, electronic data interchange, and other networks — increased by 10.9% to $9 trillion in 2019.
However, business-to-business e-commerce sales grew at an even faster rate, as more manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors scaled up online operations to meet buyers’ rising expectations of online purchasing experience.
