People out of work and businesses shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic are safe, temporarily, from eviction in Dane County, according to a story by the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court issued an order March 22 barring in-person court appearances until at least May 1. The ruling effectively stops new or continuing eviction proceedings before that date.
