Following a nearly six-month renovation, the only hotel on the Alliant Energy Center campus has reopened under new ownership, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
While the hotel’s exterior is largely unchanged apart from new signs and a large, geometric mural, the 140-room Spark by Hilton Madison General, at 102 E. Rusk Ave., has a pool, a fitness center, meeting spaces and a new patio.
The project comes as Dane County is looking to improve the Alliant Energy Center’s existing facilities and transform the 164-acre campus into a year-round regional attraction.
