Registration open for this month’s South Central, Southwest Virtual Job Fair

There will be a South Central and Southwest Virtual Job Fair held Thursday, Nov. 16 from 2–4 p.m., according to a recent press release. Job-seekers can meet virtually with multiple local businesses in a variety of industries.

As of Nov. 2, 36 employers have registered to participate from a variety of different industries in the area, which includes the counties of Dane, Columbia, Dodge, Jefferson, Marquette, Sauk, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland, and Rock.

Participants can speak with employers in real time, explore job vacancies, and submit their resumes. Job-seekers can create a profile by accessing the virtual event here and registering.

Prior registration is encouraged to avoid last-minute technical issues. In addition, job service staff will be available from 2–4 p.m. to assist job seekers with online registration and navigation of the virtual event at the following locations:

  • Dane County Job Center at 1819 Aberg Ave. in Madison;
  • Rock County Job Center at 1717 Center Ave. in Janesville;
  • Beloit Public Library at 605 Eclipse Blvd. in Beloit; and
  • Workforce Development Center of Jefferson at 874 Collins Road in Jefferson.
