Registration is open for the 16th annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, hosted by In Business Madison’s sister publication, Insight Publications, in partnership with the Northeast Wisconsin Manufacturing Alliance.

Wisconsin’s largest manufacturing conference, the event will return to Resch Expo in Green Bay on Oct. 28. Registration and more information is available at manufacturingfirst.com.

Phil Gwoke, a writer, market researcher and CEO of the company BridgeWorks, will deliver a keynote address, “Leading Across Generations,” to start the event. Gwoke and his firm specialize in bridging the generational divide, which has consistently been cited as a top business challenge for Northeast Wisconsin manufacturers.

There will be over 200 booths on the expo floor with exhibits, networking opportunities and the chance to win prizes. There will also be more than a dozen sessions on four educational tracks that include workforce and culture; risk, safety and compliance; talent development; and growth, technology and innovation.

“This event is more than just a learning experience; it’s also a celebration of manufacturing, which is the backbone of business and industry in Northeast Wisconsin,” said Angela O’Kray, Insight publisher. “We consistently receive tremendous feedback on Manufacturing First as it has grown over the last 15 years, and none of that growth would be possible without consistent support from the community.”
