RED owners to open another restaurant

Another sushi restaurant is in the works from the owners of RED sushi, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The 4,500-square-foot Jacknife restaurant is expected to open in the spring of 2022 on the ground floor of the newly constructed Arden building at 1050 E. Washington Ave. Jacknife will offer fast-casual service and streamlined takeout and delivery made possible by improvements including online ordering, an automated kiosk with interactive displays, and drive-up spaces for easy pick-up orders. Menu items will include homemade dumplings, sushi rolls, bowls (warm, cold, poke, and salad), and grab-and-go items.
