Groovy Vinyl, a new Madison record shop, has opened in the 1,500-square-foot space formerly occupied by Groovy Wood Studios, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The store, a collaboration between Groovy Wood Studios owner Steve Paulet and former teacher Will Anacker, offers a collection of over 4,000 used vinyl albums as well as restored mid-century stereo consoles.

Located at the corner of Sherman Avenue and Sherman Terrace north of Tenney Park, the shop is open Tuesdays–Saturdays and is set to host special events, including live music.
