Record early-stage investments set in 2021

Wisconsin early-stage companies collectively raised well over $800 million from angel and venture capitalists in 2021, shattering the state’s previous dollar record and continuing a six-year upward trend, according to data collected by the Wisconsin Technology Council. On March 10, Tech Council President Tom Still will moderate and be joined by Tech Council Investor Networks Director Joe Kremer in previewing the 2022 “Wisconsin Portfolio,” which will analyze the 2021 results. The event will be held at UWM’s Innovation Accelerator, 1225 Discovery Pkwy., in the suburban Milwaukee community of Wauwatosa.
