Demand for a robust crop of Christmas trees from Wisconsin growers is surging this year, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal.
Pandemic-related lockdowns are resulting in more time for families to spend on holiday decorating, and fresh-cut and cut-your-own trees are selling quickly. Additionally, fires in Washington and Oregon and an invasive insect found in North Carolina have meant Wisconsin growers are helping fill requests from other areas of the country.
