A decade ago, We Energies made a decision about its future and rammed it past broad public opposition. That decision didn’t work out so well, and now the state’s largest utility wants to make its customers pay for that decision.

The Public Service Commission should refuse this. It is not only a drag on the economy, but it upsets a basic idea of fairness.
