Madison artisanal jam- and preserve-maker, Quince and Apple, is under new ownership, according to the Capital Times. The company was founded in 2009 and distributes to over 2,000 stores nationwide.

Co-founders Matt and Clare Stoner Fehsenfeld sold the company to Courtney McCarty in early June after a few months of searching for a buyer. McCarty and her husband run Nitro Beverage Lounge.

The business grew significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic as people placed an increased number of online orders. McCarty plans to continue sourcing ingredients from local producers while pursuing further growth by expanding into new markets across the country.
