Quartz was recently recognized with a Business Impact Award in the Large Business Category at the 365 Leadership Community Choice Awards, presented by Madison 365, according to a press release. In its fifth consecutive year, the Community Choice Awards aim to honor the leaders and change-makers among Madison’s communities of color. Award recipients are nominated and voted on by community members.
Awards were presented in a ceremony this week during the 365 Leadership Summit held at the Madison Concourse Hotel. During the program, Quartz was recognized for its efforts to achieve National Committee for Quality Assurance Health Equity Accreditation. Quartz was also recognized for its Belonging 2.0 initiative, an internal training program for Quartz employees that aims to foster inclusivity by intentionality. Elizabeth Priller, Quartz director of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, accepted the Business Impact Award on behalf of the company.
Quartz leaders and employees also participated in the 365 Leadership Summit, joining many of Wisconsin’s leaders of color to build community, address issues, and develop strategies for Wisconsin’s future.
