Architectural stone cutter Quarra Stone Co. is planning a new production and corporate headquarters in Sun Prairie, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The company plans to relocate from its Madison location, at 333 Atlas Ave., to the new $17.9 million facility and aims to create at least 34 new jobs with the move. Quarra Stone provides custom-cut stone for architects, artists, and masons. The new 65,500-square-foot, one-story facility would combine Quarra’s production and management teams under one roof and improve production capabilities. The project would be located in the Sun Prairie Business Park and is expected to be completed in 2023.
