QLaw, a student group that advocates for the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s LGBTQ student population, is asking the UW Law School to remove the Women’s Liberation Front from its listing of public interest and government employers interviewing students for internships or post-graduation jobs, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

QLaw contends the Women’s Liberation Front has a history of opposing gender identity legislation and worked with conservatives in fighting transgender rights. A statement from the law school said the school opposes discrimination in all forms but cited First Amendment obligations in opening job fairs to employers with different viewpoints.
