The Madison Public Market may be a ways off from opening (2021), but a public meeting tonight will offer fresh renderings and ask for feedback. It will be the last chance for the public to weigh in, as the design should be finalized later this fall.

The architect, MSR Design of Minneapolis, will be on hand for a presentation and a panel discussion is also planned.

The market, which will replace the Fleet Services Building at 200 N. First St., will feature local businesses and a “rotating mix of temporary vendors,” according to a Wisconsin State Journalarticle. The vendors have not yet been selected.

The meeting is set for Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. in room 215 of the Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
