PSC grants $28.4 million for high-speed internet expansion

The Wisconsin Public Service Commission has named 39 counties that will be awarded $28.4 million in state funds to help expand high-speed internet service to underserved communities, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

Dane and Columbia counties received $269,218 for the towns of Bristol, Hampden, and Cottage Grove. The expansion of service will affect 15 businesses and nearly 300 households.
