Fitchburg-based Promega has earned CE approval in Europe for use of its microsatellite instability (MSI) test for solid cancer tumors, according to a release from the company.
The diagnostic test for MSI in solid tumors can inform physicians on immuno-oncology therapies and can guide treatment decisions for patients with certain types of hereditary Lynch syndrome-associated cancers, also known as hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC).
