The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. has agreed to give Fitchburg-based Promega up to $1.5 million in state tax credits over three years.
Promega is expanding its campus with a plan to add its 12th building, a $190 million, 270,000-square-foot research and development center scheduled for completion in 2020. The new center is expected to add 100 jobs over five years, according to a Wisconsin State Journalstory.
