Fitchburg-based Promega Corp. was recognized by Utah-based Co-Diagnostics Inc. for its rapid development and launch of a new COVID-19 test used to detect the virus that causes coronavirus, as reported in a Business Wirestory.
The two companies previously worked together and Promega was able to manufacture, quality-control test, dispense, and pack the customized Co-Diagnostics test in less than 10 business days. The test was recently approved for use in Europe.
