A new partnership between the Hunger Task Force, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has created a Wisconsin Dairy Recovery Program to distribute thousands of pounds of cheese and milk to Wisconsin families. The first 2,480 gallons of milk were delivered Friday, April 24 and distributed to food pantries.

Hunger Task Force has committed up to $1 million to support the purchase, processing, and distribution of milk from Wisconsin dairy farmers to hungry families throughout the state.
