Program launched to encourage saving through the workplace

A coalition of Wisconsin organizations has launched Wisconsin Saves to encourage Wisconsin residents to establish emergency savings accounts with automated savings through work, according to a release from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (WDFI). The effort includes the WDFI, Wisconsin State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski, Wisconsin Bankers Association, Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp., and America Saves.
