Pampers, Tide and Bounty have exceeded quarterly expectations, CNBC reported.
Procter & Gamble, which sells the trio of brands amongst many others, reported on Friday that its quarterly earnings and revenue topped analyst expectations.
Its volume of products grew for the first time in a year, and shares of the company rose about 4% in premarket trading.
Earnings per share were $1.59 adjusted versus $1.56 expected, and revenue was $21.24 billion versus $20.5 billion expected.
P&G reported fiscal third-quarter net income at $3.93 billion, or $1.63 per share, up from $3.78 billion, or $1.54 per share, a year earlier.
Net sales rose 7% to $21.24 billion.
P&G’s volume increased 2%, marking the first time in a year that it reported growing volume across the company.
