Presenters announced for Governor’s Task force on Workforce and AI meeting on Monday

A Jan. 22 meeting of the Governor’s Task Force on Workforce and Artificial Intelligence will feature presentations by the U.S. Center for Advanced Manufacturing and World Economic Forum along with presentations from the task force subcommittees.

The meeting will be held virtually from 1–3:30 p.m. Upon registering, participants will receive links to the main session as well as the three subcommittee sessions covering industries, occupations, and skills; equity and economic opportunity; and workforce development and educational solutions. Featured speakers at the task force meeting include:

  • Stephanie Wright, chief operating officer for U.S. Center for Advanced Manufacturing, with The Importance of a Human Centric Approach to AI and the Workforce; and
  • Stacey Weismiller, initiative and community lead for the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains, USA, World Economic Forum, with World Perspectives on AI and the Workforce.
