Precision Ice Blast Corp. announced plans today to relocate its production and product training facility from Wallace, Michigan to Peshtigo, a move that is expected to add 64 jobs to Peshtigo’s tax base.

To support the relocation from Wallace, which is located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. will provide Precision Ice Blast with up to $400,000 tax credits over three years. The company plans to invest more than $1.45 million to build the production and product training facility.

Precision Iceblast is an independent contracting operation that provides ice blasting services to industries ranging from printing to marine restoration. The company uses a process known as CO2 blasting as an alternative to methods like chemical cleaning, sandblasting, and water blasting.
