Wisconsin holiday travel is expected to return to pre-pandemic levels, according to a Wisconsin Public Radio report. Data from the American Automobile Association (AAA) indicated the average price of gas is up 48 cents from last year around this time; however, the organization forecasts an increase of 3,199 more people traveling more than 50 miles during the holiday season this year over last year. While airfare prices rose 25% this year, air travel in Wisconsin for the holiday season is projected to set a new record. Overall, travel is expected to reach 2017 and 2018 levels.
