Initially scheduled to open last fall, Portillo’s, the fast-casual restaurant known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, chocolate cake, and chocolate cake shakes, has announced its debut in Madison.
The area’s first restaurant will open at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 4.
The East Towne restaurant, at 4505 East Towne Blvd, will be the company’s 59th location, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. It has two other Wisconsin locations, in Brookfield and Greenfield.
