Elver Park and Theresa Terrace Neighborhood Centers are hosting their first pop-up shop in February to recognize local Black-owned businesses in honor of Black History Month. The Minding My Black-Owned Business pop-up shop will be held Saturday, Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elver Park Neighborhood Center, on Madison’s southwest side. All vendors will be provided with a 6-ft. table, two chairs, and a catered lunch, all at no cost.

Gift cards will be raffled off every 30 minutes to customers during the event. More than 25 businesses are registered, and registrations are still open for vendors to participate in the event. Contact Takela Harper at tharper@wisconsinyouthcompany.org for more information.
